She opened 2 businesses – a bakery and then a restaurant. I worked in both before leaving to work in a software company at 17. I never knew a world in which you weren’t supposed to work and make money. Even though my dad was a doctor and in retrospect I probably didn’t need to earn my own money. My mom always taught me it was my responsibility to do so.
My Two Cents
Mark Suster blogging on the most simple fact that entrepreneurs already know. That No as a word doesn't exist. Why is this worthy of a post. Entrepreneurs wouldn't be entrepreneurs if they didn't know that No as a word doesn't exist. Riffing on this topic was a late night that you won't get back. What's funny is that in LA, Mark is the ultimate combo Dr. No and lead cheerleader.
