The final traces of the old foursquare are being wiped from existence, as the new Foursquare is currently going out as an update to Windows Phone users.
My Two Cents
It's about time Foursquare -- killing 1st gen foursquare should have been done 3-4 years ago. Splitting company into 2 app's is fine, but I see no future for Swarm. So the future is bet on "new Foursquare" as a competitor to Yelp, which has been a laggard company in its own right. With all of the User data that foursquare has collected over the years, they need to do "much" better!!
